www.interlocals.net is a website site for non-english speaking world to communicate with each others on their social, cultural, political issues through collective efforts of a group of media activists, in translating local news and debates into an international context and in dialoguing with each others concerning the cultural, social-economic and political background of their own locality.

apart from countering the homogeneous and distorted representation of international news agencies on non-english speaking world, this website aims at facilitating a border crossing exchanges among people from different geographical areas in issues that are crucial for world peace and social transformation.

interlocals would also facilitate border-crossing research on grassroots journalism and media activism.
